To receive a Leading Colleges Award, an institution must have been nominated by a school counselor, independent educational consultant, community-based organization professional, a faculty or staff member on the campus, or the Leading Colleges team.
The purpose of Leading Colleges is to help the college counseling community to identify student-centered institutions. There are currently two programs to accomplish that goal: the membership organization and the annual awards.
