Dean College
Franklin, Massachusetts
What Is The Dean Difference?
It’s not a program or a professor. It’s not a single class or a club. It’s the way their academics, support network and community overlap, connect and magnify each other.
At Dean College, students find the people and resources who help make their dreams a reality. In this exceptionally supportive community, they’ll work closely with world-class faculty and professional advisors to gain essential skills and create a plan for success. They’ll explore their interests through clubs and activities, over 500 campus events per year, gain hands-on experience through internships, and prepare to launch a dynamic career.
The Dean Difference is really quite simple — it’s Dean

Applying to Dean
Dean College has two rounds of Early Action, Nov 1 and Dec 1 and then is rolling admissions. Using a personalized, holistic review process considering all aspects of the student’s academic, extracurricular, and personal experiences, 71% of students were admitted in the most recent year. Our philosophy is to determine if the student could be successful at Dean College and if they are the right fit for the college. If they are, they are admitted. Students are not competing for a spot with any other applicants.
The Common Application or the Dean application are both accepted. There is no application fee. Although letters of recommendation and a personal statement are encouraged, they are not required. Test scores are also not required and are not used for an admission or merit scholarship decision.
